Ahlan Wa Sahlan! Welcome to our flagship beginners Arabic course. This course is specially designed for those who desire to learn how to read the Arabic language. With our online course, you can learn at your own pace by having access to these lessons at anytime that is convenient for you day or night.
The book we will be using for this course is al-Qa’idah al-Madaniyyah, or the Madani Principle, by Dr. Abdul Muhsin Qasim. This is the curriculum-based book taught in the Prophet’s Masjid in al-Madinah.
From the distinguishing qualities of this book is that it is comprehensive of all the principles you will need for reading; so in these courses you will learn the Arabic alphabet and how to recognize all the letters, then you will learn the sounds of these letters when they have the different vowels. We will go over the short vowels, long vowels, the sukoon, the tanween, and other important principles. There are also added bonus lessons which are not in the book. Finally, -if Allah wills- we will end by doing reading exercises, and also learn some basic rules of tajweed.
